Hee-Ho, Howdy everyone! Today I bring you more of Toonbold Thomza and Aellea drawn in a much simpler art style. Or well, drawn to be "expressive" instead of "detailed" and I also get to show how they're only like- 2 ft tall about, lmfao. Also, this is just Thomza's inner Dragon shining through- he isn't going to be bullied around by one of the hostile predators of the planet and can probably beat this giant serpent up entirely unarmed. Atlhough Aellea has seen those things wipe out entire groups of mandrakes, so she's ready to get out of there.
Even if this image is meant to be in Cycle 9, it all takes place on the same extremely hostile death world, so a giant "Basilisk" isn't that out of the ordinary. This is also one of the smaller monsters that inhabit the planet. It just probably didn't expect to get a wallop from Thomza in the very next couple of seconds when it lunges at them. Something I also might illustrate out later just so I can get better at how I can do more expressive poses and expressions.

I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system. This however is stuff of Cycle 9 which is just the deep past of the current setting of skin to scales, it is still bright and colorful, but what I said still applies. This is all grounded in fantasy, as I repeat myself.
