Kitty and the rest of Team Katswell were at Seagull's Bagels one day after work, and Dudley ordered a croissant, which Stephen had freshly baked each morning. After giving Dudley his moon-shaped bread, Stephen recalls a memory from when he was a TUFF agent that made him want to add croissants to his menu. He tells the TUFF agents that back in the day, he used to cross paths constantly with Gaston Le Quack, a French duck criminal who uses French bread as weapons. All these encounters with Gaston have influenced Stephen enough to add croissants to his bagel shop's menu.

As for Gaston, well, he's currently serving time in Albatrozz State Prison. He can be seen giving out rolls in the prison cafeteria. Guess he just couldn't escape bread, even behind bars, huh?
