Just a couple of characters I thought up based on Japanese haniwa figures (the things that inspired the gyroids in Animal Crossing). The horse was one a cowerdly samurai living in ancient Japan who, after fleeing from battle and being killed by an arrow, had his spirit become trapped in the Clay horse figure rather than be reborn. The dog character is a more optimistic and carefree counterpart to the horse. They died more recently due to their carelessness and ended up possessing a modern sculpture inspired by the haniwa of old. I don’t have any stories in mind for these characters, I just thought it was a neat idea.
