Sometimes there's a moment when you're angry, you say a lot of mean things to someone you love very much, and then, a couple of hours later, you realise how wrong you've been. If you still have a chance to say "I'm sorry" before it's too late, you should take it.

I really admire how you challenge the 'perfect love' theme that is prevalent in many of the furry works that permeate the art community. Of course the concept of perfection only exists in theory, and your story does directly offer an example of how a love is not perfect, at least not all the time.
Couples who live together will eventually have some arguments, and people lose their temper and say things in the heat of the moment that they truly regret later on, and it seams our Bear main character here has done exactly that. Thus, his relationship with his wolf is made all the more realistic.
Thus, we also deal with the literary concept of Regret. Obviously our Bear Hero is going to be tragically torn asunder in his personal mind with what he has said and done to his wolf companion. But I would counter that this deep filling feeling of regret is what proves the Bear really loves his Wolf partner. For if he did not, then such high levels of regret would not manifest.
And further proof that their relationship is really solid, the Wolf companion immediately forgives the Bear for his mistakes. That proves that this Wolf does indeed share reciprocity with the love that exists between the both of them.
Indeed, this was a rare moment of weakness being shown as a potential healing point that acts as a catalyst to make their love even stronger than it was before.

Wow, thank you very much. Honestly, it's based on real events. I have a friend who and I used to fight sometimes, as I'm still a bit insecure about going into the furry community. This is my first year, and naturally things don't go smoothly, but we've both always help each other.
You know, it could be said that there are tangible threads of the author's real life and mind in every one of his stories. Something had happened in your spirited existence to influence you to write this particular story in a specific way, and you just gave me a few tidbits of information on it! That's wonderful to hear that this is your first year in the furry art community, let me be among the waves of others that will welcome you with open arms into the bright sunlight that is the furry creative landscape.
Of course, no need to feel insecure, you have already carved out a name for yourself as a practitioner of fine beastars fan-fiction, My Mate commentary, and pulsating original literature. I'm even a little jealous lol.
