Meet Mila Ignia
Another adopt I originally sold that was given back to me with the knowledge that I'd be able to give them love and attention. Or at least, more than what the original buyer was able to do atm! Which I happily accept, and love when that happens with my adopts! Anyway, meet Mila Ignia. Genderfluid af. (She/they)
Mila is actually a common rook. She dyes her feathers and has so many tattoos to look like this. To look bright, and lovely, and more brilliant than the feathers she was born with.
Mila was the main designer consultant of another oc of mine, Kat Dapper. Kat Dapper being my sphynx cat who is a pretty accomplished fashion designer. They met and were on fairly friendly terms since Kat's last year of design school. Both eventually accepted positions in Paris, and didn't meet again until Kat started her own company and saw Mila's resume online trying for an open position. Mila was employed by Kat and worked closely with her, showcasing her particular talent for choosing and altering color palettes. She fell in love with Kat Dapper, and the two engaged in an off and on relationship that Kat kept insisting they keep casual and flexible, as Kat wasn't looking to engage in anything serious at the moment. Mila agreed, hoping that when Kat was ready, she'd turn to the person closest to her. The person who was always helping her, the person who was of great help in some of Kat's greatest fashion accomplishments. Despite Kat clearly stating that was unrealistic and improbable and she wasn't comfortable with that. Mila refused to acknowledge Kat's boundaries. When Kat broke up with her formally, Mila was devastated.
Mila has a lot of trauma and inability to accept rejection. She let her worst side out and entered her villain era. In the end, she chose to heighten the already existing incel-y bullshit that she had been festering in for awhile. Especially once Kat started dating her future wife Judy, a giant and fluffy narcoleptic travel writer. Mila decided to betray Kat, and stole some of her designs for a future runway production, as well as some of Kat's favorite signature fabric *specifically* for plus-sized people with sensory issues, and joined Kat's biggest rival, a fashion mogul who had also scorned Kat for being rejected (though not romantically, simply in their career).
Mila reinvents herself as a cruel and obnoxious and pretentious fashionista. Even saying her own name 'Mila Ignia' with a drawled out douchey pretentious french accent. The two, Mila and this other mogul, started plotting to undermine Kat, only for Kat to come out on top on these efforts because Kat is a lot of things, but she's also a *dangerously* clever bitch with a penchant for one-upsmanship. This particular turf war ultimately ended when Kat released an entire line specifically dedicated to Mila, including ensembles marked with themes such as: 'You're not mad at me. You're mad at the you I didn't want.' and 'You traded greatness to punish, I traded you for victory'. When she gave the interview and said these things, this line exploded. Everyone wanted a piece of the vivacious revenge clothing line that was so incredibly badass and self-empowering. But Mila got the message, and it devastated her. She withdrew for quite awhile. Found renewed vigor in simply being a problem.
Mila has made it her life's mission to take jabs at Kat's growing fashion empire. Mila is not doing a great job. Hendrix once spit in her coffee.
