So at last year's charity auction for
furnalequinox, one of the things that was up for auction was a painted commission from
anyare. I've had a few things from her over the years (from an etched flask to a badge to a traditional sketch) and I've liked them all, so this seemed like a fun possibility. The bids got high enough that the ladder kicked in and made it a two-character piece, and I've been trying to get a few more two-character dance pieces, so this seemed like a perfect opportunity... we bounced around ideas a bit, resulting in this pic of Jenora and Anyare dancing at a party, possibly somebody else's wedding reception.
The commission did take a bit due to life events and the rest of the commission queue having to be cleared out as well, but wow, the wait was definitely worth it.

"My starcat walks on fusion feet
With no sound to her footfalls;
Upon together, Discord, nightly shares
With her largish werewolf small.
I think he loves the starcat Jen,
His heart meshed betwixt in hers
If her footsteps are heavier than his,
Then her sunshine lightly purrs."
-Jen, by Garth Gilmore (after Lois Weakley McKay's 'Night').
