A short preFurry (meaning before my furry discovery) poem I wrote. It has a slightly dark tone. It does however have a certain Furry sense about it which shows that I was definitely furry in thought, even though I didn't know what it was at that point. Anyways...hope you like :)
They call me a human and I wonder why oh why
When every night I howl up at the moon in the sky
These animal desires are taking possession of me
Releasing my soul and setting me free
I’m shedding all the chains of my humanity
Bordering on the verge of insanity
No matter what I do, I’m still losing control
And once I do, black’ll be my deeds and black’ll be my soul
They call me a human and I wonder why oh why
When every night I howl up at the moon in the sky
These animal desires are taking possession of me
Releasing my soul and setting me free
I’m shedding all the chains of my humanity
Bordering on the verge of insanity
No matter what I do, I’m still losing control
And once I do, black’ll be my deeds and black’ll be my soul
