Dice & Lighter sketchpage
When I do sketchpages like this I start at the top left and just proceed to draw in columns and rows to fill out the page as much as I can, and in the process I try to act out the personalities as best I understand them. This usually results in me learning who the characters are the more I draw them as one expression, pose, or situation will reveal some little bit of entertainment that can snowball into something larger and more compelling. In this case the basic premise is that Dice is a superhero (or villain?) who can assume colossal size (if he's not that size all the time?) and Lighter is the partner / sidekick. It's been awhile, I'm sorry I can't remember exactly. Anyhow, the first couple pictures showed me something about how to draw Dice, and the second picture of Lighter had me thinking of a little kid who hangs out with his bigger brother who's taller and stronger than all the other kids which emboldens him to be loud, obnoxious, and pretty funny.
