One by one, the guests were handled, twisting or puffing up another helium balloon. The excitement on each guest's face as they came up and got to watch a balloon much larger than what they were used to seeing puffed up by lungs alone most of the time was a surprise to each one.
But sooner or later she gets a person who doesn't seem to want one of her giant toys... and now that person was here. Cyra reached under in her cart and pulled out the box of more reasonably sized twisters, grabbing ahold of one and starting to stretch it lengthwise. "It's still a little bigger than most twisters, but it is a 'normal' one. With a snap as the balloon pulled back to its normal size, Cyra flicked one hand into the air and used the other to bring the balloon up to her lips. A couple breaths later and the balloon was almost filled, ready to tie off and twist.
Been a minute since I posted anything of my own, and sadly that's going to continue for a while longer until I get a decent place to get photos of my work to upload. Until then though I happen to get the occasional bit of art commissioned and here's another piece done by
EntropyStar working on my girl Cyra.
There's usually fun little quirks working with each artist. Entropy had a commission tier where this would have looked more like a coloured pencil piece, and be a little less refined. But she had so much fun coloring it in she added a bit more, including the translucency in the balloons. I won't say I made Cyra's outfit to be entirely modest, but I did try and make sure to use opaque balloons in all the reference material I give out. But sometimes, like here, they still come out very see through. I can only imagine the cat calls if she were to have this on. This isn't a gripe mind you, just a funny little aside that gave me, and hopefully anyone who reads this, a chuckle. Now go here and show the original post some love please? Entropy deserves it.

Hopefully the circus had an innocent supply order screw up that she's stuck with jewel-tones instead of matte pastel or pearl. If those jerks got her the wrong ones for a prank, someone needs a solid asskicking. I'd donate the right ones from my own stash, of course.
Maybe some 11" chrome colors. It's ridiculous that Qualatex only released the chromes in 11" or smaller. But other companies were quick to copy them in larger sizes.
