Roxy was pulling Henry along with her (being the faster runner). The stopped at a fork in the road, the hall splitting in two different directions. Roxy looked behind her. "Alright, Henry, you go right and I'll go left. You find a way to lose them while I find a way to trap them so they cannot catch us."
Henry nodded and made a right. Roxy ran left hoping that Monty would be the one to chase her. She looked behind and gasped. Sammy Lawrence was pursuing her! "It was foretold a wolf in sheep's clothing would try to stop me from my salvation! I must remove the problem."
"But I thought Vanny wanted you to bring me back alive!" Roxy shouted.
"If she can fix Monty, she can repair you too!" Lawrence shouted. "She wanted me not to destroy you, she didn't say anything about not damaging you. Bendy would understand my justification."
Roxy rolled her eyes. She found an open door and ran inside. She found a large crate, big enough to hide herself in. The lid was loosely on so she opened it and hid herself. She peeked through a knothole and saw Sammy running into the room. He paused and looked around. He looked under a table and in a hidden corner of the room. "You can't run from me, wolf! I'll find you sooner or later." Sammy walked over to the crate she was hiding in. Roxy was grateful she wasn't biologically alive because if she were, she would be breathing; and if she breathed, Sammy would have discovered her hiding spot.
"Hey, Sammy, I found Henry! He's unconscious. Better hurry!" Monty shouted. Roxy had an idea. As Sammy left the room; she found a metal pipe on the floor. She crept behind the cultist making sure he didn't turn his head. She finally struck. WHAM! Sammy was knocked unconscious. She continued down the hall until she found the room Monty was standing in. He had his back turned to her looking around the room with his hands on his hips. She saw that Henry was tied to a chair.
Henry groaned and looked up at the gator animatronic. "W-what happened?"
Monty laughed, "Henry Stein! You really thought we couldn't find you?" He shook his head. "Game over, gramps!"
Henry noticed Roxy in the doorway. She put her finger to her lips; warning him to stay quiet. Henry decided to keep him distracted. "Why would you hand me over to a delusional man?"
"Because you interfered with Vanny's plan--and she was interested in getting a new henchman. Boy was she excited about Joey Drew's Studio. She sent me and Chica here to find Gregory, but also to find the source of this ink." Monty dipped his finger in an ink puddle. "This ink has many properties such as creating copies of cartoon characters or even humans." Monty paused for a moment. "It has the power to even influence!"
"Like that virus Vanny programmed into you and Chica?" Henry asked.
"Virus is such a strong word, it is more like a true calling." Monty said. "But yeah, what the virus does to us animatronics, the ink also does to human beings. With the ink, she will be able to serve her master with greater results."
"Who is her boss?" Henry asked.
The gator chuckled. "Nobody you'll live long enough to find out about."
"Does this have something to do with Gregory?" Henry asked.
"Yes, Afton always had an eye for children. Gregory was the first to escape--but not for long. You see, Afton knew about the abandoned cartoon studios and this ink is what gave him inspiration. Sadly, even though he was a great inventor of many animatronics, such as Roxy, Chica, and myself, he couldn't find the ink to finish his master plan. The ink creatures, such as Sammy, are souls trapped by the ink. Many animatronics--old ones--were used for the souls of children." Monty replied.
"So this guy is a child stalker and killer and he wants to take advantage of this place after all the demonic rituals." Henry said. "Seriously, Monty, you need to free yourself from this Vanny. No one in their right minds would take orders from maniacs like that." Roxy crept behind Monty, clutching a hammer.
"Can't break free from my programming." Monty replied. Roxy struck Monty in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious.
"Roxy, you found me."
"Hang on tight, I'll get you free in a jiffy. They heard footsteps. Roxy hid underneath a writing desk.
Sammy Lawrence entered the room. He paused and looked down at Monty. "And he thought I couldn't manage without him." Sammy dragged Monty out of the room. He returned, shut the door, and said, "Finally, the sacrifice is at hand."
"Sammy, do you know anything about a guy called Afton?" Henry asked.
The former music director paused. "Hmm, sounds familiar. Young Willie Afton--a young boy with a big imagination--eight years old. He came here in 1960."
"So he is eleven years old now? Was he a prodigy or something?"
"No, just a boy who visited the studio." Lawrence said. "But none of that matters now. Bendy must claim my offering to him. Sammy Lawrence began chanting a ritual.
"Sheep, sheep, sheep it's time for sleep. Rest your head, it's time for bed. In the morning, you may wake. Or in the morning, you'll be dead. Hear me, Bendy! Arise from the darkness! Arise, and claim my offering! Free me, I beg you! I summon you, ink demon! Show your face and take this tender sheep!" Roxy heard noises from the halls. She used her eyes and say a tall horned figure with long arms and a sadistic wide grin. She recognized it right away from earlier. "Do you here him as he creeps through the halls? I'd love to stay and watch but I need to find the next little lamb! Bendy will only be satisfied for so long!" Sammy shut and locked the door. He managed to drag Monty away from the area before the monstrous ink demon arrived. Roxy arose from her hiding place and broke Henry from the ropes that restrained him.
"I found another door that leads to the bottom floor." Roxanne said. "I picked the lock with my claw while you had Sammy occupied." They exited the room and Henry shut the door behind him right before the ink demon lumbered inside.
What does William Afton have to do with anything? I found out he was born in 1952 so Afton was 11 during the Bendy and the Ink Machine 1963 timeline.
Enjoy!
