Bart Simpson made the grave mistake of trying to befriend the green masked prankster. While Bart somehow avoided being pranked himself, he loved talking to him. In fact, he ended up blabbing some of the various pranking stunts he'd dreamed of doing, but had no intention of carrying them out. And one of them involved Springfield's corrupt mayor.
He had not anticipated The Mask to actually listen to him and take it upon himself to put them in action.
It's been a while since I drew The Mask again, so I figured now would be a good time!
