You gotta admit, she's pretty freakin' fugly. Katt, as a visual, got thrown together pretty quickly when I realized that I had absolutely no female characters thus far. It wasn't from lack of trying, really, it was just that... well, dudes hang out with dudes, and girls tend to travel in packs as well. This is far from being sex appeal, especially at this horrendous level of "art", but I did see that the entire cast was male, and I needed at least one supporting female cast member. Thusly, Katt the cheetah was introduced.
EASTER EGG: In the very, very, very first draft of this arc, the cat burgler was actually Katt in a sort of fat-suite, intended to make her look male while she robbed people in disguise. But, I realized about 20 minutes later that that was just IDIOTIC, so it never made it into the actual comic. Katt became her own character, and the villain was a seperate entity.
