I'm imagining how Toorts would looks like if he's furious beyond control. In this state, he'll reveal his non-human side completely and obliterate everything in his way, until he calmed himself down.

Can someone help him calm himself? Yes, if that someone prepared to face the consequence, namely, burned to death.
Splashed him with water? The water will evaporate before it even touch him.
Since the Landlord is a wizard, can he cast anything cold to extinguish him? That's the same meaning as "Murdering his own renter", something that he'll refuse to do.

The best solution, is to prevent it from happening. Although, the Landlord unknowingly prevent Toorts from burning his renthouse this far, by fulfilling his biological need (whether Toorts ask for it or the Landlord offered himself to Toorts). Since Ifrit is one of the demon that likes mating, Toorts also has the same trait, which explain why he's constantly horny (well, most of time).

What happened when he finally calm down? Most of all, he's naked, since all his clothes burned to ash. Also, he'll suffer severe burns (due to him still has human gene with him). Not to mention, angry mobs whose things burned down by him accidentally.

He got his gene from both his late father and mother. His late father was a human, but has affinity to demon (especially Pyro kind), then married his then-to-be-wife which also has high Pyro genetics (yes, 'has', because his mother still alive somewhere). With this happened, their son has the highest concentration of Pyro gene, thus making him a direct descendant of Ifrit, an almost pure Pyro Entity/Demon.

(Note: Being a direct descendant of Ifrit is also the reason why he understood anything La-Boo said, since La-Boo--being a ghoul and a fellow dark creature--can't talk except by making some grumbling or screeching noise)
