Thorne is a 7 ft tall robot. His kind was created to hunt a species of space insect called the Iderach. Well the Iderach have been exterminated and now many of his kind have found more docile lives. Most chose scientific roles. Some chose ambassador roles to the many species of the universe. Some did remain combat ready, taking up military and police roles. But Thorne was an oddity amongst his brethren. He fealt no desire for combat and no attraction to science. No, what he sought caused him to be shunned by his fellow robots.
