There are many things this Pink Kobold is ready to do after getting buffed up on almost every single potion there is. She's ready to fall on the ground and start convulsing similar to how Peter eats a rice cake, and or fidget so hard she'll fly to the moon. Neither of which will help her with the incoming goblin invasion as that's what she buffed up for. Although potion sickness is only for healing potions, not the other ones in Terraria. It is a miracle she isnβt sliding all over the place. This image was drawn as a joke idea of me sitting there, over-buffing my character for the goblin invasion and staring at the bar on the left side of the screen on how many I had. Where I couldn't help but laugh and wonder if my Kobold Character was having a good time or not.
Although I can only imagine her having a resting angry face, her ears twitching and staring forward as she waits for the oncoming horde of goblins and other monsters. It's been a bit since i did any Terraria fan-artwork, and I guess while I'm dealing with some surgery pains... I got back into terraria a bit and wanted to play with my all-time favorite mod, Thorium. Although this time around I'm doing journey mode/master mode just so I can cut back down on grinding for materials and take my time when building houses and bases. Although I have several thousand hours in the game across console, mobile, PC, etc., I've come to enjoy journey mode a lot more since it feels like an entirely new way to play the game. As well as a few other quality of life ones, I don't like to mix many mods together as I feel it breaks the game way too heavily and makes it very un-fun. Only one big mod at a time and that they should be enjoyed equally, on their own. Still doing a mixed melee and thrower build as it is pretty fun so far. If only I could make my character a bit shorter, but... I think it's fine, I mean the dwarf in the game is also the same size as everyone.
Regardless, I'm only up to shadowmail armor and gave her a Valkyrie-like armor design with her stomach and other body parts exposed. Obviously, it's some form of magic armor so there's nothing really to worry about and it can be chalked up to vanity. She's the Queen of the Kobolds, and she'll be respected as such.
I don't have much else to say besides having a little funny go at the drawing and playing with an idea... I might draw more of her in the future in Terraria. Have a good one everybody!
Terraria belongs to Re-Logic and the creators of the Thorium Mod obviously go to their own copyright stuff. The funny character and fanart belongs to me though, TwistedHensley.

It's nice seeing classic terraria mods finally get ported to 1.4 all I need now is the spirit and split mod to be ported and I can die happy.
I finished Thorium fairly recently using a few minor melee rework mods. The melee weapon combos in the MEAC demo are especially fun to play around with and dont break the game too much.
I also agree on the whole "Only one big mod at a time and that they should be enjoyed equally, on their own." You'll never know what item from one mod can completly break the progresssion of annother *cough* *cough* spirit band.

Yeah, I'm more than happy that Thorium got ported over and it's just so charming with all of it's amazing little updates.
I mostly play around with a lot of Melee so I'll have to check that out when I can.
Also most definitely, it just sucks when I see modders having to deal with people who say, "this doesn't work with calamity" or it's "too underpowered in comparison." That as well as all the little bugs and quirks that happen to mixing some mods together as well as stability issues. I've always been the type of person to do small quality of life mods mixed with just one big mod so I can thoroughly enjoy everything it has to offer on its own as well as all the balancing it does with its new items and bosses.

It's definately worth a shot. The dormant mod also does something similar focusing on revamping underused weapons into something more unique and interesting. It also changes the basic melee swing animation into something more intuitive.
I also recommend "quality of life" as it adds a bunch of tools I can only describe as the grand design for builders.
