Friends Of Rhea - TGTM105
Me, you, we all could look back at our current friends or the friends of the past, but most of us fail to look at what meeting them really proved to be to us. I look back at the first few friends I had made and see what I had then. I was little at that time, the time when I was still in elementary school, and shy, small, hardly a spec in me that wasn't innocent. I had two friends then, Devin and Jacob, who were some of the best friends I had at that time.
They made my first few years of school feel like a breeze, but not only in a sense of it being easy, but also a sense of it feeling.. calming, peaceful, like a paradise without the coconut drink, beach setup, and palm trees, but still a calming experience. Soon though, that brick fell out of the foundation as I moved schools and Devin had already moved at least a year before that, so I didn't see Jacob again until high school. In the meantime, I spent time in the other elementary school, making friendships that didn't last long, but then there was Adrian and Lamar, who I saw then as just another few nuesances on the bus, but I hadn't thought that they would eventually be good friends of mine later over time.
After all that, it was middle school, where Alex was one of my next friends, who was a good friend who is still a good friend to me after all this time. Middle school continued and around the middle of the second year, if I remember correctly, James came to the school, transferring, he was, as he was just getting there. I introduced myself to him, welcomed him to the school, and soon enough, we were good friends. Shanda was another friend of mine that was at the middle school about halfway through the entire middle school period, but by high school, she had moved to Florida, but at the time, Alex and James were having complications about Shanda and Alex and James started hating each other. Fortunately, as of now, though they would tell you themselves they despise each other, they are still able to at least have a decent conversation without screaming at each other.
Now I'm in high school, where I eventually met David and we were good friends and still are, even though the only communicating we can actually do with each other anymore is just say hey while we walk past each other in the hallways. Zack is probably my newest friend from the years, excluding my online friends, that i've made and he has been a good friend to me, but now i speak my conclusion.
Obviously, fights are going to happen, ours being mostly verbally, but it's only every once in a while and the fact were still friends proves what I have learned from all my friends, and that's this: If you can end up in a fight and hate your friends, but wake up in the morning and go back to being perfectly fine, instead of never speaking to them again and hating them until you're on your deathbed, then you truly had a friend for life, but if not, then.. you should ask yourself, ¨Were they truly a friend?,¨ because a friendship is a true one if it has a bond even the worst of the worst of arguments can't break. Remember that, everyone. Your friends will prove themselves and so will you yourself in that field.
