IDs are indeed transferable. you can sell yours to anyone you want, but that would leave yourself without ID of course. when someone dies the ID expires, so it would need to be sold while the person is still alive... of course, ifyou die after that it won't matter anymore. :U

sidenote: Most people don't have first and last names in this world. only a "call name" (as in, what your mother called you) and the ID number. ZAM-ZETA is the name of this colony, ZAM is the company who discovered & claimed the planet to be terraformed. yeah this does not take place on earth. probably not anywhere near earth.
