During his first and second classes, Rio contemplated more on what he would say. The idea of making weapons was the one point he kept on thinking about because he knew that's what people wanted to make in that kind of class, not nails, or shovels, or work-related tools. When the class was over, Rio got out of the class and looked around for some people, trying to figure out who to ask first. He'd approach some and say, "Got an interest in metal work?" or "Heard of the Smithy Club?" For a while, during the passing times before and after the third class, but he was answered maybe with "No thank you" or "I'll have to think about it."

Then he came across a rabbit talking with a fox about something, and he asked them about joining his club.
"Isn't blacksmithing just a metal shop class?" The rabbit asked, "I didn't really have interest in it when the class was being offered."
"Yeah, how would this club be any different?" the fox added,
"Well, we'll be able to skip some of the things we don't like." Rio said, "We can just get to the projects and items we wanna make rather soon."
The two looked at him curious, exchanged a look with each other, then looked back to Rio, "What if we wanna make nunchucks?"
Rio looked at them a bit baffled, but then he sighed, "I think we could make that happen, heck we could make those and add other details to them."
At that, the fox looked up at the rabbit with a wild smile. The rabbit smiled more collected but simply nodded, and then he turned back to Rio, "So when is this club meeting?"
"Talk with Mr. Thronson," Rio smiled back, "He'll let you know when we're going to meet up, it should be next week."
"Yo, we'll be there." The rabbit said, "See you there."
"Glad to hear it." Rio smiled and held out a hand, "I'm Rio. by the way."
"Austin,"
"Caleb."
"See you boys there then." Rio said, and walked away with a bit of an accomplished smile. "Just a few more to go now."

He kept going, but got some of the usual rejections, but then he ran into someone he didn't expect. Out by one of the classrooms was the bat cheerleader from homecoming, Sasha. He walked in her direction, but as the halls got crowded, she was gone. He looked around for her, but then turned to the teacher he saw her talking with, "Excuse me, could you tell me were Sasha went? She was a friend of mine."
"She should be off to lunch," The tigress said, and pointed down the hall, "She doesn't really eat with others anyways though."
"Oh, I see." Rio said, looking down the hall with his heart sinking, "See you later." He walked that way a little bit, trying to find her, but then sighed and walked off to his fourth class. He Kept to his goal to try and get other students to sign up for the club, but he kept his eyes open, hoping to spot Sasha again.
