This is the pit bull I recently rescued from a neglectful neighbor. You can see how starved he is - look how prominent his spine is. She never fed him, never played with him, and the other dog that was in the yard with him died (froze, or starved) so we convinced her to let us have him.

He is an absolute sweetheart. He loves us and our other two dogs. He's eating a ton - to be expected obviously - about three times as much as our other two dogs eat combined. We haven't decided whether to keep him, or fatten him up (and try to train him) and find him a new home.

His name is Locomotive, or Loco for short, because of how strong he is - I felt like I had hooked the leash up to a freaking train, man.
