Sorah and Regthar, the Renzar couple decide to adopt not only Esteban, but also Lilethe Skunktaur.

Lilethe is Esteban's lifemate and hy lost hys parents in an accident. At first, Sorah blamed Lilethe for Ugkar's attack on Esteban. But later, she understood that all Lilethe did was try to protect him from that powerful and misfit skunktaur.
