is a hybrid of 2 axolotl species (grey and blue [it can be hard to see the blue, but its there]), and can move water (not too much), much like a waterbender from one of my favorite shows, Avatar the Last Airbender

Often finding his demise, he carries a pearl that holds the special power to bring him back to life by reforming him into a new body around said pearl
