Well there's always a quick and easy solution fortunately to being called short ;)
I don't think Devil is scary. I rather find his designs and appearance rather cool and intruiging. It has an original style and look to him plus I rather like the fangs and spikes going down the back of his tail. Even the eyes hold a nice look to them as well.
Should be fun to see how big he'll reach ;)
