Just some art therapy. I needed to get some things off my chest.
In short, there was someone I knew that I trusted, that I thought was a friend, who basically turned around and played me just because she doesn't have a goddamn spine.
It wasn't a furry or anyone, just someone I met here in Toronto who I thought was a friend. I met them through the NKOTB fandom and...yeah. of course I find about this NOW. And on my day off, too. >.<
On the plus side, I know who my friends are, and who they always were. But it hurts all the same, and I'm left feeling betrayed and pissed off.
I hate the New Kids fans in Toronto. They're horrible, cliquish and shallow. My mistake was thinking I had a good friend in one of them.
Well. I'll feel better, I always do. But thanks for letting me rant, guys.

:( I know how ya feel... I've often made friends with people who ended up being less of a friend than I suspected. Sometimes it makes ya want to stop trusting people, but then you remember if you did that you'd have no one, so sometimes risks are a necessary move.

Fortunately I haven't gotten to the point of not wanting to trust anyone. I'd hate to ever let things get that bad! I stay away from the local New Kids fans though.

CorgieGurl in Ohio. They adore the New Kids...but they live in Ohio, and they're furs. They're also two of my good friends and I'm happy to have them around!

I wouldn't say I'm obsessed. I like Donnie a lot, and he and the New Kids mean a lot to me. But at the same time, I have a lot of interests too that I have just as much fun with.
But the fans I've been dealing with make the New Kids their #1 priority. They chase after them, objectify them., go to concert after VIP party, after cruise, after concert, and then do it all again. In short, they've been there, done that, and gotten T-Shirts proclaiming themselves as "Mrs. Wahlberg".
But in regards to the competition aspect, yeah, I've had that rear its ugly head. >.< When I went to a concert in 2009, I got ganged up on by these girls who saw my Donnie shirt and felt that couldn't be allowed because Donnie was THEIRS.

Dude, you should totally swing by sometime this week when I'm not working, we'll hang and stuff :D and times like these... Just think of it as an exercise in who your true friends really are. It sucks to be reminded in this fashion, but I am trying to be of the more "glass is half full" these days ;)
Oh, I completely agree on all counts. That's the way I think of it too. Even when it hurts, I always think that Squirrelly, or JR, or Drew, or Raver, or etc...would be there for me here, or would have done that, or whatever. I'm lucky to have you guys. :)

One thing that's helped throughout all of this, even back to the cruise and stuff, was remembering who my true friends were. Hanging with you and others, and talking things out really helped.

awww...babs dear...I understand how you feel...I'm into goth but i sometimes i get shit from other so called goths that tell me I can't be goth cause I'm none white and a christian...they are quite shallow and ignorant...anyways heres a adorable song I found that I like to try to sing to my rabbit friends...it pretty much goes like this...

No kidding. One of the reasons I wrote her off now was because I'd been in situations with fans before where something went down and I figured it was just me, and kept keeping on...only to wind up in a nasty situation like a concert where I was stuck having a terrible time with people who clearly disliked me and didn't want me around.

Meh. Not sure if she deserves any kind of attention at this point, because in the long run, though I got hurt, she doesn't really matter.
Besides, this was just the latest in a string of drama. I mentioned to someone earlier that I'm not really liked amongst the Toronto NKOTB fans because I'm too different, and "I'm not doing it right".
As such, I've been subject to a lot of 8th grade bullshit. I think the most severe was this one girl who got out of hanging out with me by saying her mother had a brain tumour and needed an MRI. As such, she had no idea when she and her sister would be able to get together with me because of having to tend to their dyng mother.
I found out a few days later that her mother was perfectly fine, there was no MRI or cancer. She just made it up to avoid the little punk retard who draws the New Kids as animals. 9.9
Classy.
