After he got dressed, Scrooge got down in the street gay and carefree like a little boy. He wished a merry Christmas to all of those who would listen, greeted, helped as he could... which surprised a lot, people not knowing if they had to be happy or worried. He crossed paths again with the same men from the day before who were still doing charitable work. He apologized to them for his words and in order to make amends made a prodigious donation which first left them speechless before thanking him and blessing him. Later, the little boy returned to him announcing him the turkey had been delivered, and Scrooge thanked him and as promised gave him his shilling
