Welcome to πΈπstation
Don't you believe that artists should be more productive and competitive instead of wallowing in self-pity?

It is an interesting question, yet, even if I am not at all an expert in machine learning, I believe that most approches are quite robust and, therefore, any kind of "poisoned data" would be well managed by any convolutional neural networks. I should ask it to some colleagues who are familiar with GAN and similar stuffs.
I am now trying to imagine a website, like deviantART or ArtStation, where all the submissions are AI-generated (with randomly chosen keywords) and where the favorites/likes and comments are also automatically generated by some well trained neural networks analyzing the AI-paintings. The ultimate goal would be to become the NΒ°1 "IArtist" in a competition involving only computer programs.
Not sure if I should feel over-excited (as an engineer) or a bit worried (as a human being).

I recognize this platforms as an artist. It goods they offer for the brushes or certain upgrades for the clipstudio paint; however, it seems impractical for the business emails because you get either solicitor nft or scammers. Only few artist are worth to get brushes from their marketplace because they are high synergy.
Most followers end up be a bot or passive interaction at that artstation. The AI art seems only make the competition for artist worst but will ends up trash in years later. The artist deserve to be respected for their time and paid good deals.

I guess that any profession (and the human practicing it) deserve to be respected.
Enjoying the disappearance of a job (replaced by an automatic process) isn't always relevant.
The lose of some expertise, emulated by a program, is possible and not very reassuring. :-/
