But he had no time to fall asleep that the room seemed to light up and a delicious scent of food could be smelled. When he stuck his head out of his canopy bed's curtains, Scrooge jumped. In his bedroom was now a gigantic man surrounded by a whole Christmas feast proportionally gigantic as well! Contrasting with the Ghost of Christmas Past who hardly emoted, this individual seemed jolly, bon vivant and laughing, he was pudgy, had long red hair and a beard and wore a thick coat and a holly crown. Both scared and stunned, Scrooge asked him who he was, which made him laugh "I am the Ghost of Christmas Present!" The Ghost explained all these dishes were the manifestation of people's generosity and heart during the holidays, generosity he was lacking of. Scrooge scoffed. Generosity was pointless!
