December has started, so my yearily giving out of xmas gifts to my mutuals can begin!
First piece this year is for
Lakeguts and her awesome knight dogs.
Earlier this year I drew some of the young lads sparing for artfight but this time I decided on something a little different.
A more grey in mood piece, I decided to draw the older Sir Ford.
I'd read a bit about him before and since he design finally got finalized he was top of the list of who to draw!
Not sure if this happens during current day of
Lakeguts stories but Sir Ford here is trekking through a battlefield in the heavy rain. A large and brutal battle had been fought here. But was it recent or just old Ford remembering a past conflict as he trudges on?
I'll let you decide.

Oh my gosh you have posted the wonderful pieces here. Its definiately a piece taken right from the story, like exactly as I imagined it, and you have captured Sir Ford and his everlasting worried expression... quite spot on!
One thing I'm really impressed with is the rain though. Perfect amount of gray clouds, drizzle and the feeling of solemnness. It is quite the piece and for now probably my favorite piece of Sir Ford. Even though I haven't drawn him enough myself. But still! It's just the perfect representation of his character and the battles he has gone through!

Yes I am slowly but surely putting up the wonderful gift pieces, yours included.
Glad I could get that good worried look, it's how he seemed by what I read of him.
And thank you, just something about it raining on a battlefield, it's a whole 'nother feeling of solemn.
Like nature itself is responding to how sad the loss of life is.
