As a matter of course, Maroth queens have a history of introducing their eggs to Ftherian nests to improve the survival of grubs-- Ftherian parents can dedicate more time to fewer children, and something small, fluffy and chirping forms a bond better with a parent. It is mutually beneficial in hindsight because with the rapid maturation of maroth they can quickly employ themselves as a secondary ward of the chicks.
In reality, with the modernization of the galaxy at large Maroth have to set up agreements with Ftherians to have them care for their grubs... although there are still cases of queens sneaking a few grubs onto doorsteps when they're very overwhelmed. If you like my work enough to support it, please consider becoming a patron on my Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/billblok
