This 13-page side comic is set nebulously between the first and second volume of Oren’s Forge. In a dual narrative between Oren and the One-Eyed Wolf, the story delves into the past and provides insight into the wolf pack, as well as Oren’s motivations for starting the Hollow. Why not see how the defenses of the home are. And how you'd get through them. And make it so it was either impossible or difficult for you do that
Sometimes we need the words and visions of others to see what we can not. That's how wisdom and intelligence works. You're not a dumb dumb, Rask.
Think with something other then instinct. You were smart enough to keep embers alive. Not everyone would know how to do that

Yeah now it is a given. On that question fate will have to give him the answer of his worth in the Hollow. Be the predator negotiator and stallward protector of the Hollow and all its occupants. The thing he can build is what Oren saw in him. A way to add predators into the society of the Hollow and further strengthen the community.
