Woke up last night and couldn't sleep and played around with the Skidbladnir and FINALLY got 4 Jericho jets into the model and in position. Then I realized the Skidbladnir and Nidhogg were too small to carry a Condor. Well, my sleepless mind just HAD to remedy that.
Say hello to the Cradle, a 'super' heli-carrier that divides its run ways between the spot where the majority of the personell work. Due to widening the decks and lengthening the back twice as many jets can be stored, a larger nuclear engine is fitted to help power all the props to keep her grabbing air, and there are now twice as many fuel tanks near the heli-pads to allow the Condor's, Jericho's and other friendly aircrafts of a certain size to land, fuel up, then go their merry way.
With more room in the rear the builders added 3 missile racks in the rear of the Cradle to motivate enemy aircrafts to not attack from the back.
I plan to keep tinkering with the Cradle and oddly enough by itself with no other crafts in the model its already 11,516kbs and already lags horribly can only imagine how much worse that'll get once i put a few Condors on the branched run way and some Jericho's on the straight run way.
God i wish i had a solid model of this. Would have it on its stand on a table or something.
