been tryna come up with a proper story for Wolfstar in my Warrior Cats story and this is what I have so far
Wolfstar grew up as an outcast in ThunderClan. she was seen as a freak by many cats because of her lack of fur in certain places, so she always worked hard to gain the respect of her peers. although she does have some silently built up rage around it, which manifests itself in violent tendencies. this behavior becomes somewhat normalized for her after seeing her mate, Cherrynose, kill two cats to help her become leader of ThunderClan
her wish to be respected causes her to be self conscious, and her self consciousness makes her easy to manipulate. Saltstar took advantage of this to manipulate her into joining his plan to destroy ShadowClan. her biggest reason for joining his plan is that rage that’s been building up over time, making her more willing to take out her rage on an entire Clan by threatening and delivering violence. she wants to make others feel pain for making her feel like an outcast and does not hesitate to do so upon ShadowClan.
however, during the battle that kicks ShadowClan off their territory, Frogthroat took one of her lives before it ended. while receiving her next life, all she could hear were the screams of StarClan begging her to stop this path and change course. this causes her to shut herself out from the rest of ThunderClan (aside from Cherrynose) and being paranoid of any ShadowClan cats potentially pulling the rug beneath her and dragging her into the Dark Forest, where she is quickly realizing she deserves to be

Wolfstar and Cherrynose go by she/her pronouns and Saltstar goes by he/him pronouns!
