Twitter will have a description abstract, but I’ll wide my words, so this could be read as a warming.

For this month’s last hump day I bring you this digital painting tittled “Fifas”, which of course is a responsal to the Worldcup and the match today Mexico has. I’ve to mention I don’t have any expectation about the game, unlike Pepe, the bull and typical mexican man believer of a champion Mexico. And is about this so “inherent” feature of mexican men I write because “Fifas” is a celebration of men’s hopes, specially from those of the low classes, desired as the hunk, the chacal but ignored as humans and called, precisely “fifas” by privileged, frail and rancorous sectors, as far I know just in LATAM, that don’t have to be involved with the definition and creation of masculinity.

This artwork, conjuction of the ghetto and deserts, is a fete to male beauty, bodies and diversity, often appreciated by the use can be given to us, the skintone fetish and silenced voices, as happens in the countries that today are the tournament host, the match opponent, and Gamal’s birthplace; exemples of a universal situation. But being man, swarthy, hunk or fifa represents vigor, vivacity and freedom to be shameless bathed by a radiant sun in benefit of their joy and admiration.
