Yeah Isiah's mistake is thinking he's in a traditional monster movie when he's in a deconstruction, but stupidity is to be expected from someone who's father, grandfather and great grandfather are all the same person.

And of course we see the true insidious nature of capitalism in that it really doesn't care about anyone even the people who keep it alive. It's there to make a profit and it'll sacrifice anyone it has to to do so.
