I wanted to HAVE an epic mount, not BE the epic mount.
This is Kingman as a powerful warcat, in need of a rider to face off against Fenris's forces and save the world. So he is now barded and saddled, and he is stuck like this until Fenris retreats or is slain.
Kingman is also very sensative about being compared to Battle Cat, and Loki is having a grand time mocking him.
I think I have size right for Kingman to be the size of a Cyldesdale (sp?) horse. But nonetheless, I'm bad ass, super powerful...and still managed to feel ridiculous and embrassed.
So who wants a ride?
Also if anyone has rode a horse can you tell if I got the riding stuff right? I'd appreciate it.

well the reins don't really seem attached to much of anything.. unless, their anchored to the sides of his helmet. and the sturrups look like they're attached to the girth strap, instead of the saddle frame.
of course, that's assuming I'm mentally tracing stuff down under the outer layers correctly.
*Goes to get her armour*

http://www.majhost.com/gallery/King.....ralking001.jpg That's what's underneath. So yeah proper feline shape. Even though arms and size are a bit exaggerated to demonstrate power.
The stirups are attached to the saddle frame and designed for a 'normal' person. The reins go into that loop on his helmet instead of a bit, so he can actually talk to his rider without something in his mouth. The armor on the shoulder actually flares away from the rider like a modern day motorcycle to protect the rider's legs and the shoulder spikes are at a 45 degree angle to prevent a josteled rider from accidentally impaleing themselves.

ah, just looked a bit odd from that angle. and, I guess, some personal preferences seeping thorugh.
one nice, and simultaneouly annoying thing with furry art: No real right answer, just as long as it it seems plausible, (and even that is a matter of personal preference as often as not.)
