Why not? I know that he's supposed to be a plump fellow but really everyone needs to get out and do something once in a while besides going over his list and working in the workshop all year long, besides he has to be very fit to be able to get every gift on time every year even with going across the earth in a manner that gives him 24 hours to do it.
