money is very regional. Generally people will accept barter economy stuff unless you're in a city where people tend to expect currency. Currency can be manufactured to be fairly durable and static enough at least compared to the spellfluxed themselves. People are more subject than the items, afterall they still gotta be able to farm and stuff they ARE manufacturing things still.
