An airship I thought up while on vacation. Named the skyripper for its incredible speed, the Skyripper is made mainly of wood and plexiglass with some metal components. It's four high-powered engines also have a great deal to do with it's speed. It's main defence, however, is also it's speed, as its only defences are one forward facing deckgun (hardly a threat to anything but another small vessel) and two tail-guns, both vulcans that can effectively deter any craft that could try to chase it (such as planes and even lighter airships). It has two frontal engines for quick stops and reverses (as well as minor positioning adjustments during landing). The two large sails stay slicked back for aerodynamics most of the time. They are mostly for use in slowing down without wasting power.

I dunno, I kind of liked it.
