A comparison of the Low-Ki 'original (front) and the Low-Ki Deep (back).
The Low-Ki Original is a solid 10 inches in length, lighter due to the more shallow blade, where as the Low-Ki Deep is just under 10 inches and heavier due to a deeper blade. Both are effective fighting knives, the Original having a better slash but the Deep having a better Thrust/Stab. Each have their strength and weakness, which leads to some soldiers in both the GFA and Rebels to carry one of each variant next to the other allowing them to decide and reach for the one they desire as soon as the need to pull a blade that has a strength to suit the situation.
Between the two blades my personal preference is to the Low-Ki deep. I may make a serated version with a serated edge on the spine of the Low-Ki deep version.
