Was feeling a bit sad yesterday, so I decided to draw a sad bit of worldbuilding for Vel’s story.

Her species was created by mixing up DNA to get something like a dromaeosaur. And some of the earlier attempts didn’t go so well, coupled with events that lead to whole cities being abandoned as people migrated out to smaller centers of living.

She goes to scavenge in those mostly abandoned cities for her little town, and sometimes makes discoveries...
