Hopes and Dreams - Page 18

Did I finish a page early for once? I did!
Wanted to work more on my anatomy on this page and have tried to use ovels to mark out the musles, I also tried to use triangles to get the general shape as thats what Miss Kimmy suggested in one of her streams. I also wanted to lean towards her original design a bit more, that can be found here. I think the smaller muzzle, sharp nails and tuffs of fur around her wrists/elbos add some more character without ruining how I drew her before.
I've also played about with the dialog boxes to try adding some emotion, such as Helga calming down. I think locking down some text box emotions would be a good idea for you the readers and possibly remind me to do eye expressions... Helga was a bit emotionless last page.
Oh and encase you wondered, yes I did have to do this at uni. I spent 2 weeks just sitting on a stool sieving muddy water and it sucked.

Sort of, to make a basic slip it's just water and clay. This is what most people use but my project required something special and thus added a bit extra to it.
The uni's machine isn't able to mix the extra stuff so im pushing the machine made slip and extra materials through a mesh to mix it\break up the extra materials. Just makes it more consistent.
Slip is typically used to cast plates, bowls and what ever you want really. It's also used to decorate clay items as it's cheaper to cover it in color than be solid color.
Hope that makes sense, don't worry if not as I'll be going over it in the next few pages as I explain my project at uni. (Incase you wondered Abdl stuff will be back in this comic, just uni was a big part of life at the time)
