Calhoun Demonfire
Yeah, anyone who's known me for a while knows exactly who this is. This is Black Volcan, as his own individual self.
His years of being combined with Volcans' spirit made his body like an evil clon of his original 'host', and the several times Volcan fused himself with this phoenix to become Chaos Volcan joined their minds together several times, allowing Black Volcan to develop intelligence until soon, he became strong and smart enough to learn how to seperate himself from Volcan, or at the very least, become the dominant entity.
Black Volcan was soon exorsized from Volcans' body, but then he took on this form, becoming a true being with a hunger for destruction. Worse yet, he has ALL of Volcans' memories; everything Volcan has said, thought or seen, this guy has. He also has all of Volcans' powers and skills down to the last flick of the wrist, but like him they've been mutated and twisted to match his insatiable hunger for destruction and death.
He adopted the name "Calhoun" as a Celtic name meaning 'Warrior' and took on the alias Demonfire based on the creature he was born from; the beast/demon Lucarinai. In addition, he has taken on much of Lucarinais' appearance, including the bandaged legs (since Lucarinais' first body was in that of an ancient mummy from Egypt) the Demonsteel Cuirass and most of all, the staff. That staff is authentically Lucarinais' own staff, and as such it carries great power.
All in all, Calhoun here is much more dangerous than the regular Volcan in terms of ferocity and ruthlessness, but his unison with his counterpart has turned Black Volcan, or Calhoun, into a regular Avian with 2 elements, and he'll grow just like any other one, never becoming weaker than Volcan but never exceeding him either; they will be evenly matched for the rest of their lives.
But Calhouns' spirit harbors the malice of Lucarinai, and in centuries to come, he will eventually become the very being he was born from.

He doesn't take the chance that the other half takes control when he changes back. It's a merging of both of them, but when Volcan became his Chaos self, there was always the possibility it might be Calhoun who takes control when they exit. Now he no longer has that problem, but unlike the older version he no longer has the Emotionless state of mind he had originally.
