It's been a while since I've uploaded music. The recording failed for my orchestra's last concert last season, and the recordings for this season haven't been finished yet. I DO, however, have a new quintet recital recording, so I can post most of those pieces.
This is a fun, clarinet-centered movement from the Quintet by Carl Nielsen, probably Denmark's most famous composer in history. My professor in college used to say that Nielsen's compositional style is to write a beautiful folk-song, and then take a huge marker and draw an X over it. That's not so much the case with this movement, but it's fun to say anyway.

Clarinet - ME

"Quintet" by Carl Nielsen.
Performed by members of my quintet. When you hear the clarinet, that's ME. This is MY recording that was made for free and was given to ME.

Hey there! Glad to hear your practicing is going well. Eyes ahead of fingers- yeah, it can get really tricky with super fast stuff. Right now it sounds like it's kinda like reading words one letter or syllable at a time. When you get more familiar with arpeggios, you can look at the whole thing, recognize the key it's in, and just play it in rhythm, more like reading a word or sentence.
Keep working hard! ^o^
