This is a spell I've had in my head for a looong time. it's part of the 'trickster' group of spells that really only exist because they're fairly harmless and can cause a lot of trouble without being incredibly destructive, but are also fairly useful in combat. as this gnoll learns.~

Ya know...This reminds me of a spell from the 3.5 spell compendium: Bite of the King. "Your mouth opens impossibly wide and engulfs your foe. And with a loud swallow, your mouth returns to normal, leaving behind no trace of your foe." I use a modded version in mine...Rather than making the target vanish completely, it goes into the obvious area. My character Slypher has quite an affinity for it. Back lash? If a target's slain by the spell, 1/32 of the weight of the target is added to the casters. I like the "Back Lash" quite a bit, but a Fox Cleric that big is bound to no longer be able to fit into a suit of full plate soon enough. >.>. But this seems like quite the fun spell you've conjured up. <3~
Only name is 'Spell Compendium' but there are alot of cool ass spells in there. And my cleric is fun~ He's a reformed warlock, having dedicated his life to an order of paladins and holy clerics. He loves causing trouble every now and then, and as stated before, LOVES Bite of the King, but he's slowly growing out of his full plate...his outfit is form fitting and has alot of religious symbols over it. He's about 5'7, has white fur and black hair; short and spiky and bright blue eyes. Chubby, loves eating, and carries a Holy Greatsword named 'Crime and Punishment' that has a bunch of augments that make it's damage all in all 6d6+15 with a crit of 14-20 x 18. But for the book, look for 'Spell compendium 3.5' in google, that should give ya what yer looking for. ^^ -finally done babbling-
*giggles* well it doesn't have any written effects yet...
I'd need some time to write something up x3~.
I'd imagine the casting time would be a standard action, and that the effects would last for 1 minute/caster level.
Save: Fortitude negates.
Effects would be something liiike:
When cast on a target, Broaden Body causes them to gain weight rapidly, to the point of near immobility.
Target's base movement speed is reduced by 10, target becomes a large creature, gaining a +2 to constitution, but no other bonuses, and all of the negatives of being a large creature.
The creature's weight is increased about 4 times.
This spell does not cause any direct harm to the target, but may ruin worn equipment or non-magic weapons. targets affected by this spell cannot be moved through by allies, and take an acrobatics check to move over or around if there are no empty spaces around them (I.E. in a hallway)
something like that x3.
dunno what level, though.
