Alright folks here is a Christmas card I've been trying to design. This is the outside of the card. It features two Elves working on a Christmas (palm)Tree.
Here is the story/poem behind the picture...
Nerdy and Nosey, were two elves on thin ice,
after putting Santa in traction,
and getting Rudolph's antlers stuck in a powerful vice.
They were sent away from the North Pole,
to keep Christmas toy production on track.
They got themselves stranded on a small shoal,
With two large lumps of Santa's finest coal.
They sat there in the sand all lonely and sad,
with Nerdy holding his head in his hands
and Nosey becoming increasingly mad!
"I hate Christmas, always having to make toys,
For those snobby little girls and rotten little boys!"
Nerdy got up shocked at his friend's strong words,
"That's no way to think!" He said, wiggling his ears
and suddenly a box of decorations appears.
Nosey watched as his friend set to work,
trying to dress and curvy Palm tree,
although with much difficulty.
Nosey sighed and then magic up'd a ladder.
He climbed it up quickly, grabbed the lights,
he got his feet tangled and fell with a splatter
Nosey spit out sand from his big ole mouth,
"I dislike being this far South!"
Nerdy smiled and helped his friend up
They made the tree as great as it could be
And then they smiled enjoying their work
"Merry Christmas, Nerdy" "The same, Jerk."
