They say The Shape is nothing but pure evil. Evil personified. Soulless, thoughtless, emotionless why does it kill? Why does it kill the people it does but ignores others? Truthfully nobody knows. Evidently it is human, it bleeds, it feels pain, it can be injured, cut, shot, fingers blown off and they do hurt it. But it always seems to keep coming back stronger and angrier than ever before, it's like it enjoys these cat and mouse games, knowing it cannot be stopped at it is fuled by pure rage and hate... It's getting close to Halloween... Better lock your doors and stay home, but, we all know even that can't stop The Shape the best thing to do is pray or leave town..

DrKot when I saw it I knew I just had to buy it. I am a huge fan of the Halloween franchise and I've seen every movie dozens of times, through the best and lows of the franchise. I recently saw Halloween Ends and I was left conflicted, I feel like I'll have to watch it a few more times but as it currently stands, it did what it was meant to do in the end, finish the Strode era, how it got there was, something to digest. Halloween1978, Halloween 2018, and Halloween Kills make for a pretty great set of movies and Ends, well, it feels like a wrench in the road. But I understand what they were trying to do, considering how the new movies followed the recipe of 78, Halloween 2 and season of the witch.
What I will say that I really really loved about this new trilogy is that they made Michael human. With the four canon movies it is apparent that The Shape is human. I always loved that of the originals until well, you know, Curse of Thorne and so on. To me it makes Michael scary again and makes him stand out from the other giants in the slasher genere. The Shape is just, a very rage filled "old" but clearly still in shape human male. It makes him believable, it indirectly makes him slightly relatable, he can be a real person and that for me makes him quiet intimidating.
Anyways if you have anything to add comment or discuss please do so, I love hearing what others have to say on a subject like this!!!! That's my little Halloween rant and even thoughts on the franchise as a whole, loved this commission show
