"Upon further investigation, the "cocoon"--or whatever is inside of it-- reacts to bright light. It shakes and often the material seems to warp as its contents reach for the light. During one of our tests, we took some photos of the reactions to extended bright light. We didn't look at them until after we'd left the apartment for the day, so we didn't see the hand until long after we'd left. I think the thing inside is human, at the very least. Whether it is Ms. James's brother is an entirely different matter. Or, if it was him- whether he's the same person he used to be." - Investigation into the large cocoon found in the apartment of Sarah James's brother.
