I'm literally distraught rn. I was expecting to keep my job for years to come, but today I received my two weeks notice bc of forces beyond my control. for those of you not aware, I was a caretaker for an individual with autism - well, the individual's parents have decided that they just can't care for him anymore, and are not receiving the funding necessary to pay for him, the damages he's caused, or the pay for his caretakers. as such, I'm out of the job and, if I can't make my next month's rent, am completely homeless.

I'm in the process of figuring out what I'd need to do to move in with my partner in the states (I'm in Canada), but until then, I need to figure out a source of pay in case that can't get all wrapped up in a month (which, I know it won't).

as such, I'm begging you - if you're able to, please consider commissioning me, or buying adopts or a YCH. I'm properly desperate and terrified of what the future might hold.
