The Amazons rarely allow visitors to their lands, though they do trade with other nations almost nobody is allowed past the harbor and especially at the capitol city Herapolis. Those fortunate to be allowed to enter the city will have to deal with the rather unsual harbourmaster, Oleiya, and she is not quick to allow passage even to diplomats let alone any stowaways. She runs a tight operation and there is very little that she does not know about going on in her harbour and she can not be swayed to turn a blind eye as smugglers find out soon enough when they try to bribe her? She will take their money and then have the guard arrest them as soon as they try to move their wares.

Nobdoy knows where she comes from as even Oleiya remains tight-lipped about it, but her kind is known as the Dracaenae to the Amazons although the Dracaenae appear the have had vanished into thin air one day, their homeland never found despite both nations having waged wars out at sea for many years long ago. So imagine the Amazons surprise when a lone Dracaenae suddenly washed up on their shores clinging unconcious to a pile of jetsam. At first the Amazons did not know what to do with her but since she showed no aggression they decided to let her live and eventually set her to work in the harbour where she climbed up to harbourmaster after many years, loyally serving the Amazons and learning their language. It is suspected that she is an outcast of her people considerign the way she was found and nobody had come looking for her as well as the fact she never once tried to flee, but untill she decides to talk about it her past remains a mystery.
