In the Autumn of 2010, everything changed for the Spectrums. New owner, new coaches, new players. And not everything went according to plan.
Then again, things never do.

I just read through it in one sitting without being distracted, it was so immersive and wow, what a treat it was to read! The characters were well developed, and names were surprisingly easy to remember, which is unexpected when there's a whole basketball lineup of characters. I really liked how the story progressed, as a firm grasp of language allowed the whole tone and atmosphere to change from hopeless, talentless rookies to serious competetors for the league.
My only complaint is an overwhelming amount of dialogue in the first few pages and that the third game was not very memorable.
I am hooked on this series and most definitely look forward to reading the next part. Keep it coming! You sure have talent.

This story, unlike most of my other writing, was not laid out in the same manner as I usually do. As for all the dialogue at the beginning, typically that doesn't happen, for me, but most of the characters I was using are pre-established characters in the larger universe of the FBA.
If you'd like to actually get the full picture of what's been going on, head on over to
BuckHopper's page and read back through his journals. The Spectrums are only one of twenty-four teams in the league, and there have been a lot of developments since this story.

I'll make sure I will. It's cool how you have an established universe, but I don't see it mandatory to look back through all the previous content because this piece stands well on its own, which is another thing I liked about it.
That said, I will be sure to check the rest of the material out.
