This is well further on now, where Athen and I aren't at each others throats every day. He has long since transferred to the Super Swim Team, and he's definitely enjoying himself. There's still so much we learn from each other too. I still have the slightest edge in the pool, but the pony boy also has a background in competitive open water swimming, and he's very good at that. It didn't take him long to convince me to throw on a wetsuit and follow him to the beach. I don't think we got much swimming done that day.
